Universal Design for Learning Infusion in Online Higher Education

This qualitative case study explored the development of online teaching capacity to incorporate universal design for learning (UDL) framework in an graduate program. The participants were purposefully selected from multiple levels at a Canadian university: (1) program level, (2) faculty and (3) institution level. Using series semi-structured interviews document analysis, four themes identified: leadership, community practice, educational development, (4) challenges. In addition highlighting roles academic leaders fostering UDL adoption learning, findings also revealed forms support that need be place increase capacity. provide valuable input toward setting stage meaningfully adopted setting.
